are TSB's the same as RECALLS
A lot of the TSB's may list the Monte Carlo just because it shares an engine, or component with other cars...many TSB's are listed for multiple cars.
For example, one time my temp gauge dropped to zero, and stayed there, I took it in, and the dealer found a TSB for ALL car with the 3.4L,3.5L,3.6L, 3..8L, and 3.9L..."vehicles equipped with these engines may require a ECM programming to fix a faulty cooling sytem read out"
Joe, I would not stress yourself out over TSB's all cars have them, and the list goes on. Its basically a way for mechanics all over to help each other out, and let everyone else know of the problems they have found.
One Chevy dealer pulled up a TSB when I owned my Cavalier which showed how to locate the block drain plug for the cooling system...TSB's can be directions on how to do something, or possible problems to look for, etc...

Thanks for clearing that up about the TSB. I was really worried about these issues. I have about 40 miles left of warranty. It will be gone in the next two or three days. I was trying to identify these problems over the weekend, but could not duplicate any of them. I am hoping my car will last for a while before needing any major work.
