Question Battery Alternator Compatibility

Hi, Thanks for looking, I have a 01 LS. I am wondering on, if you up the CCA from 650 to 800, or close to, on the battery. At the time of replacement of the alternator would you not also need to up the amperage to be compatible and fully charge the battery. In theory, the battery would not be getting enough current (if the alternator stayed Stock) to Fully power it and then putting a drain on the Entire electrical system.
How much tolerance Do BOTH Battery and Alternator have without having to make an immediate change?
How much amperage is needed to power a battery?

Thanks, as I am sure this was posted 20 pages ago.

The larger battery would take slightly longer to get back to full charge after a start, but besides that nothing should change. you shouldnt need to up your amperage with a high output alternator unless u r making incredibly short trips (under a few minutes) your alternator should do just fine...
