Default transmission interchange info

I have a 2001 ss with a bad trans. What model and years would be a direct swap i plan on putting a l67 from my Riviera in it. I know the riv has different mounting locations for the trans so it wont work. Since i want to go with a hd unit would the axles from the same donor car for the trans work. Not really concerned with final gear ratio ill be getting a tuned pcm from zzp.

There's a tag on your transmission if you look for it near the driver axles you would see it. I'd say look around there from 2000-2004 Montes with the l67
