OK, so I lost my driveshaft today. Don`t know why, just poof, no driveshaft. I couldn`t even find it.

I need to know by tomorrow if a fourth gen driveshaft will fit. If not then I am boned.

it should work only problem may be the #of splines and size of the slip yoke on the front and if i'm not mystaken it would have to be out of a se/ls with the th200 as the drive shafts are the same length, or a 83-84 ss with the th350( will fit no prob then)

 

Well like I said, matching new to old is impossible, as I could not find that driveshaft. I mean it`s only like 6" around and 4' long, plenty of places to hide......

 

Pretty much any G-body should work, malibu, monte, cutty, GP, regal are all the same length except the ones with an 8.5 are an inch shorter. 200, 2004r, and 350 all use the same.

 

I got it back today, donor shaft was from early 80`s monte. I got lucky and even found one already pulled.
