The car has a 8 yr /80,000 on the catalytic convertor from GM...under Gm Policy #05551 the catalytic convertor is extended to 10yrs/120,000 IF the Stealership determines that the convertor failed under that policys guidelines...
Well my Stearlership said my convertor didnt fail because of the condition under that Policy and wouldnt replace it for free...I tryed and complained and talked to everyone I could about getting it covered but they wouldnt do it..not much else I could do...so yes in theory it should of been covered but like usual the Stearlership screwed me

Well if you've now paid for it to be fixed and the car IS fixed from replacing the cat they will quickly change their mind if you call gm support line and tell them. And what stealership did you go to? Did they tell you what was wrong with your car acting up? Or a reason why it was not your cat? Sounds fishy my friend.
