Does your ABS light also come on?

Or does this traction just pop on while driving?

The trac control issue is not unknown here. As was stated earlier, there are several posts here on this subject. I had it first with the 04. I replaced the hub assemblies and that appears to have solved the problem. Then the 01 had the same problem about a week later. I really need to seperate those two. I think they are cahoots! Anyway that seems to have worked.
Question. Does the ABS engage when Service Trac Control light comes on? Does it feel like the brakes are being applied to one of the front wheels, especially after backing then turning hard, like leaving a parking spot.

i know this is an older thread but I didnt want to start another.
I have this same problem, service traction light and abs comes on. also my brakes will feel like they are grinding. I can hear a grinding noise and the brake pedal kicks back like the rotors were warped (rotors have been replaced about a month ago and it didnt change anything). I checked the power steering fluid and the PS pump doesnt make a noise when the car is parked and the wheel turned. anyone have any ideas?

Check all the connections to the wheel hubs, one of them could be loose or dirty.

If not you'll have to get the ABS code read and then replace the faulty wheel hub.
