I might be able to get my hands on some chrome rims I've been wanting to put on my car (2002 Monte Carlo SS Pace Car edition). The only problem is the size. The (stock) tires I have are 225 /60r16 and the new set are 235 /55r17. I was just wondering if this has been done before and if it's a problem free swap I'll do it. The other set of tires are on an impala SS Indy edition around the same year as my car.

 

Shouldn't be a problem at all taking the stockers from an Impala SS

 

I run a 255/45/17 with no issues. You should be fine
