Throttle Body, CV Joint, and PCV

Looks like that bracket is just two bolts.
One going into the side of the throttle body, and one going into the lower intake manifold.
The bolts are at a 90* angle to each other, should be straightforward to take it off.

Doesn't look like there's much point to that bracket either, which is why some people don't have it installed.

My Monte had that bracket too, it's for a California emissions thing that is attached to your car to add air to your exhaust and all that crap.

If you follow the bracket down, you should see a silver pipe that's connected on 2 sides, one toward the bottom and your air box, the other to the back of the engine. If you unclamp this you can move it out of the way a little, and then you will have the room to move the clamp off the throttle body screw. It's a pull, but you can do it.

I had such a pain when I had to take that off to put on my high velocity throttle body, but luckily that TB doesn't have that bolt sticking out of it, it's a hole for a screw instead so it's sooo easy to take off now.
