I know its late for this post, but just for everyone's reference if they stumble across this thread...

My 06 3.5L was doing the exact samething, replaced the T-stat, and problem fixed. It really seems like a huge problem, because everything just goes crazy, but all it takes is a new t-stat, and EVERYTHING starts functioning properly.

I hope you guys are right about that thermostat thing. However, my fan/fans are very loud like something is stuck in there. Any idea what that may be. I was at the stop light and heard a loud noise. Turns out it is coming from the fan. Do they go bad. I just had a new radiator and water pump installed(by me of course). Any help would be appreciated.

01mightycss u should get your brakes checked maybe thats the problem.....On my 2000 Monte SS my traction off light and parking brake light was on when I drove and I took it to a shop and they said I needed all new brakes rotors and everything. After I got them the lights went off so see if thats the issue

Default Traction control problem

What up fam

in my 01monte my traction control keeps turning off while driving. Ever since I've had the car it seems like when I'm turning at low speeds I hear a grinding sound and the trac off light comes on and usually gos off soon after. Is there a wire under the steering colum that could be gettin pulled or is it a different problem alltogether?

Please help afraid to hurt my baby lol
