Default Tail Light Condensation

We just went through almost an entire week of rain and it seems that I have developed condensation in my drivers side tail light. Any one else experience this?

What did you do to fix it?

Default RE: Tail Light Condensation

hell i think we live under water her ein Germany some times.

But i have never had this inside of the lights on my car.

But most of the time when this happens someone has changed the bulb and throwen the old foam washer out with the old buld or it has fallen off. SOOOOOO it creats a way for moister to get in to the houseing and then causes this while trying to escape back out.

So you have a few choices. to get rid of it.
Find the hole or leak it is gettign threw.
first off

then to get it out of the tail light use a hair dryer to heat it up and dry it out enough that it is gone and then it should be good to go. but ya have to find the leak in there to keep it out. someplace the seal is broken on the lights itself.

Also one other thing you can do is shove rags in there to dry it out. ( i prefer the hair dryer easier to get hot air back out and to dry it off in there.
