Sounds like it would be it. I had a similar problem with my Blazer, but what I did was took the switch off and pinned out the connections with a test light. I was able to get the window to roll up and down so just bought a switch from the junkyard for $5 and it worked great.

Before you just up-and-order a switch ... you should have done some preliminary troubleshooting to determine if it is ... in fact ... the switch. You can check the Fuse and the Power Window Relay. You can also probe the leads to the switch for +12 Volts and jumpered the wires to determine if the Motor was responding to seeing 12 Volts.

With Winter upon us ... a frozen window will blow the fuse or the relay could go bad from the cold making the Motor draw more current to operate a chilled window struggling to go up or down.

OK ... so, ... now we hope its the switch so you didn't toss that money on the fire. But, if its not the switch; check the relay and fuse because a lot of fuses get blown when cold weather lets frost and ice form in the channels making it difficult for the window to rise and lower.

I agree with Rick!1 more thing I've noticed on alot of them....most times when the switch looses the slight click that it makes when activated, its generally the switch. Its not an activated electrical click but a click in the internal plastic works of the rocker switch.
