Cigarette liter fuse

Default Cigarette liter fuse

Can anyone tell me on my 2006 monte where the fuse is for the cig liter? it is not listed in the manual. thanks

it should be listed somewhere in your manual, but if not it should be one of the first ones in your fuse box.. pull out and see if its burn up in the middle. small fuse with a 10 a on top but a lot have a 10 on top..

mine did that and i replaced it then it did it again,should i bump it up to a bigger fuse?

NO. The circuit is rated for 10 Amps. Find-out why its blowing a 10 Amp Fuse before you wind-up frying a section of Wiring Harness ... and, with the Wiring Harness being MultiPlexed from the Body Control Module ... if you fry the wrong wire you are going to have several systems suddenly quit.

What are you Plugging into the Cigarette Lighter (Now called Aux Power Supply) that is popping a 10 Amp Fuse?

nothing!i dont even really use it.i have a problem with that and the temp control where you choose how the air goes into the cabin.when i noticed it dident work changed fuse few days later stopped working again,though i have not checkedim assuming its the fuse again.
