Default Super Glue and the insturment bezel...

I have discovered that the plastic bezel from my 2005 MC is super glue proof.

My hazard switch mount broke off along with the right center vent. So instead of buying a replacement ($400 dlr only part) I opted to used Permatex Ultra Bond.

No dice. After a 1 hour cure, both fell right off.

WTF????
GM actually created a plastic that is super glue proof???

Thanks for the advice, but I thought that was standard procedure!

It took two hours to get it to bond... but it held finally.

As far as hot glue, last time is used that thing i ended up in intensive care reading "Burn Wound Care for Morons"
