2005 gauge cluster
Well I have to replace my cluster. I found a 6-gauge cluster on fleabay for 300, but the guy wants an additional 75 to program the mileage.
Anyone know what the stealerships usually charge for that service?
Dang modern cars...

Will the mileage remain in the memory if I were to send it to you? The fuel gauge went toes up on me. Also know where I can get cruise buttons for my sterring wheel? The screen printed ones are naked now!

Yes, the mileage will remain as it was when you sent the cluster to me...
If you are having Fuel Gauge issues, are you sure it's the cluster and not the fuel level sending unit in the tank? (it's a quite common issue as well)
Check car-part.com, ebay or a GM dealer for the Cruise Buttons

to test the sending unit, unplug the wiring that goes to the fuel pump. have the hey tuned to "on" position but do not start it. look at the guage, should read all the way full or empty. dont have the wiring diagram infront of me so do it one wire at a time, ground it from the plug to a good clear spot on the frame. when you hit the right wire, it should read the opposite as the first test, if it doesnt, it would most likely be your guage, if it does read full then empty or empty then full, your guage is working and its your sending unit that is bad(common on impalas/montes 2000-2005)
