Default Strange Electrical / Stereo Issues

I am having some issues with my 2006 Monte Carlo SS. Half the time I do not get any sound out of the driver's side speaker when I leave a key in the ignition or lock the doors before closing it. The horn chirps after I walk away so I know the car registers the locking of the door. I have accidentally left the key in the ignition when the car didn't remind me it was still in the ignition. I know these sounds are generated via the stereo. I am having issues with the Stereo too. Both rear speakers died at the same time. They play sound but very low. I have replaced the head unit with a new old stock radio but didn't help. I also replaced the factory amp with a new one but that didn't resolve the issue either.

I am getting frustrated with this issue and getting to the point that I want to rip out the entire stereo system and replace it. The only hesitation is the cost to replace the head unit, amp and speakers.

Anyone have any ideas on what would be causing these issues? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

About a year ago, I replaced all the speakers in my Monte with JBL's, same head unit. After seeing the old ones, I couldn't believe they even made noise. The speakers were so far gone, there wasn't anything left of them. The speakers in my impala are still stock and they are dying a slow death. My wife bitches about it constantly. I'm willing to bet you just need new speakers.

To follow up on my initial post, based on further research on this issue, it sounds like the intermittent issues could be due to the BCM. Has anyone had any similar experiences? If I purchase a new BCM, does it need to be programmed at a dealer? I have read conflicting opinions on if it is plug and play or needing programming.

If the BCM is like the one in my 2000 MC SS I used to have. Yes the BCM needs to be programmed.

The indicator sounds (key chime, turn signals, reminder chimes, etc.) come from the at least the front driver side speaker. I don't know if it also comes out of the passenger front or not, but I know they come out of the drivers side. Do you have any sound coming from the front drivers side speaker? Do you have any chimes at all, i.e.: is there a reminder chime that you left the headlights on, one for when you left the key in the ignition and open the door (without the car running, do you have any sounds for the turn signals?? To me it sounds like you may have a speaker that has gone out or is going out on the front drivers side. I had to replace mine as they were dead and while they were dead they didn't produce any chimes at all.
