Default steps to put emblem back on

I have a 1982 monte carlo and one of the plastic emblems fell off. I repainted the emblem and would like to reinstall it again. Would crazy glue work? If not, what is the best way to do this. What do I use to replace it on the car.

Crazy Glue may not remain flexible in the elements. The local Auto parts stores have an emblem adhesive that comes in a tube. Works good I have used them. Possibly silicon based.

The crazy glue can also start "eating" the plastic. I agree with drivernumber3.
I have used this and it works great

How should I prep the paint to make sure it stays on?

I just made sure the area was absolutely clean and dry when I did mine.
