It is easy, you really don't need to remove the dash to do the job. Trying to apply enough pressure to remove the airbag is the hardest, especially if you lack the strength like I do.

I used a mirror to see the tab to remove airbag.It's not too hard to do.

This is normal, I think it's a coating GM puts on . My Monte has it. an I have seen more at junk yard with this ..

idk..mines dont look like that, dusty but not like that. thanks for the info by the way, imma start as soon as i get paint

attempting this tomorrow... Wanna clear my buttons and possibly paint or wrap the trim around them... Either red, carbon fiber, or a hypersilver... Also doing the trim around my sunroof controls but in black.
