Steering Wheel Alignment after ISS Greasing
Removed and greased the Intermediate Steering Shaft on 2001 Monte. Put the shaft back in and noticed this morning on the drive to work that the alignment of the steering wheel is off about 20 degress when the tires are straight.
I didn't pay close enough attention to the shaft to notice if it could be installed off center thinking that the clamp joints on each end were basically "keyed" to the steering wheel and steering gear. Apparently that was a bad assumption.
Anybody know which end needs to rotate on the shaft to get the correct alignment?
Thanks
