hello MCF. Recently my 2000 SS hasstalled when taking off from a stoplight. But it starts right back up and goes just fine. Also yesterday i was doing about 70mph and it hesitated and sputtered down to 50mph then itcame alive and kept running as if nothing was ever wrong. The stalling has only happened about 3 times in 2 months and it has only hesitated once like that.otherwise it runs like a champ. With the problem being so hit and miss like thatI wondered if you guys had any suggestions.

when was the last time you gave it a tune up? plug wires and plugs also have the coils checked

mine would hesitate like that after it got wet and flooded out but caused the coil packs to need replaced and a plug wire before it quit.

also you might try to add some of the injector cleaners in to the tank. for as much crap as they put in the gas lately it is a good possiabilty where you are getting gas has water int eh tanks under ground

 

It turns out the culprit is the local BP station.I know the owner so he is going to pay to have the tank dumped and fuel pump replaced.It could have been a lot worse. So its all good. The only thing that sucks is this poopstang rental that i have to live with for a week.
