Shorted Battery ground to ignition contoll module wire
i was hooking up a amplifier to my 05 Monte Carlo LT 3.8L V6 and i touched one of the wires to the battery ground while it was running, turns out it has no insulation on it. It turned off and would turn over for a little bit but it no longer turns over. I followed the orange wire through the harness to the clip for the ignition control module (C4 pin in the big clip) and tested all my fuses. I also jumped the crank relay and fuel pump relay to test both circuits and they worked. I took out the Ignition control module and the battery and had them tested. the Ignition control module passed but the battery didn't. I got a new battery and switched over to a top post because i don't like the side post battery setup and still no crank. Any ideas?
