Default Service traction system soon

I have an 04 monte S/C SS and on the way home from work today while i was goin down the road just coastin, not on the brakes the brake light and service traction system soon light came on. they barely stayed on long enough to read them and i wouldnt have even noticed if it didnt chime at me. i figured it was just a weird once in a while glitch but after a stop sign when i got on the gas the lights flashed at me again for a second and chimed. then it was all normal for another 2 miles until i got o my house and put it in park and it did it again... its freakin me out any ideas?

I would check my steering and brake fluid levels right away. I don't think the wheel bearing would be hooked-up to the warning system ... although, maybe it is!

I JUST had problems with my system. Not sure what actually happened, only guessing. I'm parking outside now, since Lucy and Ethyl have now taken over the garage for at least the summer. A week n half ago, we had a NASTY thunder and lightning storm. Lost power 5x thru the night, but it was back on at 5:30 am. When I went out to start the car, my dash lit up like a Christmas tree! ABS, brakes, traction control off, and "service traction control" message on. Being it still is under warranty, I called up my GM dealer and they got it right in. I figured a speed sensor, and so did they. Turns out my traction control and ABS control module was fried (at least dead). Can't tell you the cost, cuz it's under warranty, but probably not cheap! This happened 2 days after I started parking the Intimidator SS outside! Lightning hit close to the house, and I'm guessing it took a hit indirectly.
If I had to make a guess, it would be the speed sensor in the hub assembly, but mine wasn't.
