This is either a lamp that is telling you to take youre car to the dealer and have them tune up the car and then they clear the lamp and hand you a bill with alot of zeros on it.
But it is probably this.
The car has set and stored a trouble code.Your car uses OBDII on board diagnostic #2.
You can go to one of your local auto parts stores and ask them if they could retrieve the code for you. Most of your larger stores offer this to their customers. After you know the code it will point you in the direction of your problem like an o2 sensor ect.ect.
