Default Service Engine Soon(PLEASE ASSIST!!!)

My (SVS)Service Engine Soon light has been going on and off. I recently found out that it might have a connection with my high beam /low beam lights. When the SVS light is off, I have to pull the light **** and push the fog light button to turn on the fog lights in the daytime but, when the SVS light is on, I notice that I am able to turn my fog lights on in the daylight by simply touching the fog light button. Are my high beam and low beam lights suppose to come on at the same time when the high beam is on? Is the SVS light possible connected with my high beam/low beam? Whats does this mean????? Please Help[:@]

The low and high beams should be 2 seperate lights and the low beams and fog lights should go off when you switch to high. What year is your vehicle?

have taken the car to the Chevy dealer and they said there is no code found for the Service soon light. They say the Service soon light may be caused by the aftermarket remote start that was placed on my car over 3 yrs ago. What do I do?
