Default Seems to be the day for clunks...

It's a little chilly here in Minot (about -10 F). I've noticed something the colder it gets. I have a clunk that can be heard inside the car going over bumps and it's in the rear of the vehicle. It seems GM has a problem with stabilizer bar bushings wearing down and making a clunking/rattling noise. Is there a rear stabilizer bar on these monte's? It seems it only does it when the car is cold, but if it's really cold out like today it will do it for longer. It won't do it when it's warmer out. (above 40 or so). Anyone else have this problem. I can't stand clunks....

Are you sure that you didn't have a couple of hand grenades rolling around back there?[sm=shootshoot.gif]

lol

is this on top of finding the gun in the car? or before it was found?
sometimes the cushins in the springs can get cold enough that hey become hard and shrink just enough to cause them to make noise.
you can cure this easiy enough just go with the polly bushings.

It was a balmy 50 something here today. But it is REALLY windy if that makes up for anything.. They're expecting snow this weekend sometime.

I have a rattle in my front driver tire that only acts up when I'm doing about 30 on a bumpy road. It sounds like I havesomething rattling around in the tire itself. No one's be able to find anything though. I take it in and they can't even hear it. Maybe I'm just crazy?!?!?![sm=smiley29.gif]

No, this isn't the gun issue. This is something different. Maybe it is the springs...how hard is it to replace these bushings?

I hope there is no grenades[:-]

It's supposed to be -12 tonight with 25 mph wind. Wind chills hitting -35 to -40. t-shirt and shorts weather...[:'(]
