rust question
So i have this spot on my driver side rear wheel inner well. the spot where the metal bends into the well for about an inch (i dont know how else to describe it) and there is about a 3inch thing of rust that is about 5mm wide. and i have not had time to tape every thing off and clean it the right way so right know i put some turtle wax hard shell paste on it front and back.
so the question is am i helping prevent it or am i making it worse by doing this?

RE: rust question
yeah it was put there to help keep your windows from gettign foged up.
BUT
here is the deal you can take heat out of the bay easily. just start thinking of it this way.
Air is goign to flow to the least resitance and there for anyplace that you can open it up so air can get out twords the back and bottom and also in at the front to allow it to circulate. it will get what you wan tdone.
Now also remeber that the hoods on a car are not desinde to hold tons of air in. they tend to come up and blow off if they get to much and the latch dont hold well

RE: rust question
dude, mickey, what are you talking about? check your post again. Luke, putting wax will prevent the water from entering it, but I would get it cleaned and painted up as soon as possible, esp with the winter soon approaching.
