Its recommended...
Struts/cartridges need to be changed around every 40,000 miles...(per the dealer)

How many miles on it?
How old are the tires? (original equiptment?)

So I would say the tires are probably hard as rocks if they are...
Between the tires and suspension components ..its pretty obvious what it would need to soften the ride... It also probably has the sport package suspension on it .. Designed more for actual handling VS riding like a boat..

If it's got 17 inch wheels, the quickstruts won't work on the Intimidator. On mine, I had to get the strut individually and put the old springs on them. At least for the rears.

Pushing down on the body doesn't designate necessarily the overall ride/suspension condition... That could just mean that the struts are worn out and need to be replaced along with the springs..

IMO
