Default Is this a repair for the steppor motors for the gauge clusters?

I have a 2005 Monte, my speedo went out 2 or 3 years ago. I tried changing the steppor motors last year or so. That worked for 2 days and it went back to not working, then the temp gauge went. When I looked, I saw no recalls on this issue. Today I looked for information on changing the a/c evaporator and found this:

I see a couple of dates on it, I also see that the 2005 Monte is listed and to be repaired or whatever. So, can I call my dealer and tell them I found this and I expect them to repair my gauges?

Thanks!!

First I'd be curious when you cluster was manufactured.

Second, I don't think this will be a freebie from the dealer unless your Monte is still under warranty. The TSB makes no mention to extending the warranty.

Third, you said you replaced a stepper motor once. If it can be found the cluster was tampered with, any warranty would probably be void anyways.

You might be best sourcing another cluster. I believe a member here (I think TMoney) has one for sale in the classifieds section.
