Default Removing front axle

I'm trying to help my friend fix his '98 Monte Carlo Z34 and we need to replace the passenger side front CV axle. I removed the brake caliper and there is still a piece holding the rotor on, it's a torx bolt[:@] Does anyone know what size torx-driver is needed or know where I can find a listing of bolt sizes? Also, would an axle from a late 80's Buick Regal fit the Monte?

the torx size you need is a t-60. It will be 1/2 inch drive and sometimes requires heat to get the bolts loose (in other words an impact or a BIG breaker bar). Sorry, not sure on the regal axle fitting? If I had to guess I would say no but I'm not sure.

You shouldn't need to remove the rotor to get the axle out.

Oops, too late now. Oh well, it needs new brakes anyway. Thanks for the help guys!
