Only reason I went with the cheap multifunction switch was because the warranty on it. I was skeptical because I hadn't bought anything from them before but figured it'd be worth it to experiment for only $37. If it doesn't last long I'll probably get one from rockauto

 

Thanks for all the help guys... I replaced the window switch, hazard relay and turn signal multifunction switch, hub and speed sensor. Passed inspection.

Need a Mass air sensor to address engine light and two recalls. One for engine oil leak and ignition switch.

One continuing issue is the fog lights. After replacing the switches, the fog light still does not work. No light comes on when the switch is pressed. All fuses seem to be ok. Any ideas?

 

check the wires coming from the light, mine did that a couple years ago and one of the wires was broken, the ground wire from the light, and just had to re connect it

 

Ohara offers good advice.

I would check your grounds first, especially for the fog light switch, then the fog lamp relay.

Here's some schematics and a trouble shooting guide from the factory service manual that might help.

i just got a multifucntion switch off ebay for 30 bucks like 2 months ago and it went out again this week the new one shouuld be here tuesday, but see heres my problem





the black one is the switch that connects to the car, if u look closely one of the slots is burnt, what is this switch called? because it turns all of the switches i buy into the one like the white one
