Default Rearview Mirror

I would like to change the factory rearview mirror that is in my 06, which doesn't have the auto-dim mirror to one that does have the auto-dim.. I seen one on e-bay that says it fits my car, but was wondering what all would be involved in replacing it.. I had it in my 03 but it wasn't in the 06.

I wasn't sure if with it having the auto-dim mirror, and my current one not having the dimming mirror, if there would need to be an additional wire or two to be ran to activate that part or not.

Yeah there is power going to my current mirror because, like you said, it does have the map lights on it. Also, I do have OnStar, Emergency & the Phone button on it too. So there is power.. There is a thick black cord that has the wire harness attached to it in the back.. I think what I may do is call the dealership tomorrow and ask the service dept. if there is any wiring difference if I were to buy the auto dimmer.. I hope not because that would be totally awesome!! I miss it from my 03 MC
