Hi all,

I asked a while back about fluid inside my 2000 SS auto dim rear view mirror. Thanks to another member I found out it was the elctrochromatic fluid and was told to replace it.

Well, heres my dilema, I bought a new one, and can see that it only has a set screw to put it on, but I cannot figure out how to get the old one off.

There is a cap covering the set screw on the old mirror and I can't seem to get it off. I don't really want to mess it up so does anyone have any ideas on how I would go about getting the old one off.
