replaced the rear struts on the mc know have a knocking noise when driving,made sure all nut where tight put the mc on jack stands and put a jack under the wheel assembly jacked it up can hear noise could it be the spring.When I put the struts on new struts used original springs.

 

One of the spring seat rubbers could be out of place, or I would tend to think a stabilizer link could be loose. Either the nut holding it to the strut or bar isn't tight enough. If you missed putting a rubber cushion in place that'll definatly do it.

 

I hear worn Strut mounting brackets can cause a knocking sound....
