Rear speakers?

Default Rear speakers?

Dose anyone know how to get to or remove the rear speakers in my 96'?

fold the split seat down, remove those 2 bolts up top, pull the whole assembly foward, then push the carpet up then pull it out, then use a socket or nut driver to take the 4 bolts out holding the speakers out. unhook the connector on the speaker and there u go.

Thanks ill try that but what i thnk i am going to do is just cut new holes for my rear speakers so they are easier to access if i nee to again. And do you know where you can get those connectors or can i use the old ones with new wires?

u wont need them again unless you reinstall the factory speakers, aftermarket speakers either use a push on terminal or the one where u slide the wire in the hole when u compress the spring. just when u cut the factory wires if the new speakers have the 2 push on terminals just buy a set from any store that sells automotive stuff, and if the new speakers are teh compression ones just skin the wire back and insert it into the speaker hole. and yeah as far as ease after u do it a couple times its simple as can be no need for cutting
