6th Gen ('00-'05): Rear Deck Speaker Cover Removal/Replacement
Hey MC friends!
I’m replacing the rear speaker covers on my 6th Gen 02 Dale Earnhardt. I have two questions…. First one being, Do I have to remove the entire rear deck or do any of you gurus have a shortcut? Second one, How do you get them out without breaking the tabs? most of the ones I see advertised on eBay and such have one or two of the tabs, broken. I don’t want this to happen when I’m removing them from this other MC.
Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have always removed the rear seat, the upper trim and pulled the entire rear deck (speaker grills and all) up and out. But those grills can be a bit "crunchy" and break if you look at them wrong.
