I grinded mine down then used caliper paint, 4 layers on each, turned out nice i think. Paint was ~$20, about 45 minutes between each coat. Much better than overpriced aluminum covers.

The detail is awesome and everyone that sees them loves them. These covers are not ez to install, read all the reviews and check for YouTube videos on how to do it. I did mine in just a couple hrs.
