Rear brakes

Hello all, so i may be beating a dead horse here buuuuut,

After painting my MC last year i cant help but notice that my brakes are a real eyesore. So in the spring i'm doing the f-body brake upgrade on the front, but i cant really find anything on the rear other than the GXP upgrade on zzp.

So is there a similar mod i can do to the rear like the front, without spending 500 bucks?

Also whats a good type of paint to use on new calipers?

Any help would be great!

If you have the calipers off strip them and have them powder coated, then rebuild the caliper with all brand new parts. Will look better than paint and hold up way better. If you don't want to go this route then as said above most Auto parts stores sell caliper paint or you can buy it online as well.

Rear brake upgrade I have not seen anyone do this off the top of my head.

I installed 2002 Camaro front calipers on my 2005 Monte carlo SS
I left the rear ones stock. I like how much bigger the pads are..
I painted my with spray cans held up fine I drive it every day to work..
Top pad is stock monte , bottom pad is the Camaro..

You can feel more stopping power, An it's not to hard to swap over.

I believe I heard of someone in the W-body community using the front brakes from a 99+ Grand Am on the rear of the car, primarily to have the rear brakes look bigger and balance out the appearance. But I don't know anything beyond that and I can't recall where I read it.

Honestly, I am with Turbo Monte, strip them down and powder coat is the best appearance method, other wise paint them. I did pull mine, I had to do sand blasting to clean them up (leave them assembled and plug any holes, do NOT want sand IN the caliper). I'm very happy with how they look.

Ya my plan was to buy new calipers and then paint them.
