Not gonna lie the longest anyone in my family has gone without an oil change was my mom. She has a 2005 Pontiac G6 V6. and she went over 20k miles without an oil change at one point..

 

mine gets changed every 3 months.....and most times it's under 1500 kms i guess because it's not a daily driver.....when i replaced the intake on my 02 gran prix gt it was pretty clean inside

 

20K without an oil change! Holy cow, thats a bit to long...Synthetic or not, I would never push it that far. :/

Yup tell me about it, I'm surprised the car is still running.. its at 100k miles and we've already gone through 1 transmission, 3 steering columns, 1 key fob, and now shes got a leaking sunroof with about 1ft of water in the floor board of the car, and GM refuses to fix the issue because they cant seem to duplicate the problem (surprise)

 

Glad guys talked me outta a sunroof..Too many probs....

 

I change mine anywhere from 3000-5000 at the max. Once it starts getting near 5000 I change it for sure.
