6th Gen ('00-'05): Power steering delete 2000 - 2005 Monte Carlo SS Belt length
Only did this because of lack of money.
My power steering pulley popped out completely and I didn't have the money to replace the pump or pulley. I did an extremely extensive search and couldn't find a belt measurement anywhere that would allow to just bypass the power steering pump(it never worked anyways.) So, I took a string and routed it, cut it at length and measured it. The length was 66 7/8". Found the needed belt at O'Reilly's and it actually works.
Looking for the part number to post also. Update coming.

I had a friend that we ended up doing this too (same issue, pump went bad among other things on the car and he did not have money for all that needed done, pump, rack, lines and so on). I found a Fiero guy that listed how put a shorter belt on a 3800 without power steering. I believe you have to also change an idler pulley (either ribbed to smooth or smooth to ribbed, I don't remember).
