Default Power stearing

I was wondering if any one else has had problems with the power stearing lines on the 2006 MCSS. Mine is is the shop again for a new line the second time in under a year. The dealer says there are no reports of this being a problem to other cars i ask them if it was a preasure problem and they told me that they checked the preasure at the pump and it was fine, I find it hard to beleive sense i have been a mechanic for years and have owned several cars. Any feed back would be apreciated.

Actually there is a problem with the lines. I've had mine replaced once, but be sure to keep ur copy of the replacement showing the mileage at the time.Turns out that they can't take cold weather as well as they should be able to, and end up blowing. It's sure to be a good 150$ job out of warranty, and if yours are blowing that often you might want to look into wrapping it or something to help give some extra strength to the line.

I think there might be a service bulletin on it as well, so if you mention that it can help the tech find out the approved GM solution.
