Unhappy posessed monte help!

I have a 2003 3800 v6 carlo. Weird things go on and off, I checked all the fuses and found one blown. Help, there must be a censor or relay out of wack, but I can not find it.

well thats not to much information to base an answer off of whats going on and off? and if its your cruise control your temp gauge/compass overhead and your heat blower motor and all then its your ignition switch... you can get them for 32 bucks on ebay and install it yourself in a half hour

Don't ever rule out the dreaded failing Body Control Module.

okay, so I have a 2003 and some pretty weird things are happening. It hit 150,000 and the problems began. The service engine light came on and when I had it read, it said the o2 censor. They reset it.Then the heater fan quit, the overhead infor goes out, the cruise control light comes on. When I start it up, turn the heater on, the fan will randomly go on and off-while I am driving it. I tested all the fuses, one to the non-existing lighter was the only one blown. I bought a hanes manual, but it doesn't cover much of my car-the 3800 v6.I looked up the ignition switch in it and they have the key on the column, mine is on the dash, by the radio.I figure there must be someone out there that knows what this is. I hate to go to a shop because ,as a women, they take me everytime. please help if you can!!

Never done one on a dash before, but it sounds easier than it being on the steering column. The plastic bezel/dash comes off, from there it can't be much that's holding the ignition switch in place.

And if you have problems with your 3800 engine, lots of people here can certainly help.

Mine did the same things with the cruise, blower motor, and overhead console. It was my ignition switch. They aren't that bad to replace at all. There is one or two bolts holding it in and after you take them out it falls out from behind the dash and you can work on it really easy.

bcm? body control module is shown to be on the drivers side -access when the door is opened? seems like a low amp fuse to me. I tested it and visually looked at it and it was fine. Do they sell them at a parts store? Either way , I am going to have to try to fix it because it is cold here in montana!! No heat is not an option!! Happy 12/12/12 to you and we are all still alive!HaHa
