Question Plug to nowhere?!

So I was cleaning my car getting ready to do the Seafoam and saw this (JUST CHANGED THE PIX sorry about the mess though)!

What does this plug go to?! It's not the line for the alternator either?

It goes no where. After I rebuilt my engine and rewired everything, that's the one that was left over. Someone on another forum confirmed it is an extra plug.

What? lol An extra plug? Really? By the looks of it it comes from the PCM but I guess I don't get why they would put that in there.

Im not surprised. I have an extra plug or two floating around under my hood. If everything works properly, I wouldnt worry about it. Also, the rubber line just pulls off the brake booster. The round part stays attached to the booster.

lol thats not an extra line.

thats the apc sensor. you hook it up to your stb and then wrap it around the firewall. get an extension cord, splice the red wire to the green one, run it to your trunk for 3 more DB's. then your all set. GL

at least thats what i did.

The plug goes to nothing. Maybe a different model car uses it and that model and our montes share the same wiring harness.
