Default please help anyone!!!

does anyone know why the tire pressure sensor dont work on my 04 MCSS, i put on the 06 wheels...whats causeing it to not work? i completely flat a tire, and the message center light didn't indicate low tire pressure. please help anyone!!!!!

I'm pretty sure that in 04, the pressure is determined by using the ABS wheel speed sensors as opposed to the newer ones using special valve stems with sensors built into them. Therefore, in order for it to compare wheel speeds, the car has to be moving.

he is correct, you have to drive so many miles for it to go off. I don't remember the amount but it is like 3 or 5 or somthing like that

I may have it backwards someone correct me if I do, but if you change wheel/tire size more than 1 size bigger or 2 sizes smaller the ABS/Traction control will need to be recalibrated for the new wheel/tire combo.

If you change tire sizes at all, it can throw off the ABS.You can swap rim sizes if you keep the overall diameter the same (If you get a larger rim and lower profile tire, it can be the same overall size as stock). I'm not sure how sensative the ABS system is, but I would try to keep the sizes as close to stock as possible.
