For anyone out there who can answer my question, I would appreciate it. What is the Difference between the BCM and PCM? I have done some searching but I do not fully understand either one. I'd like the info just because my car has been giving me trouble lately and I think one of these parts is the root of the problem. Thanks to all.

 

What make you think it is either? What's the specific problem?

The BCM is the body control module and if a problem is actually due to either, that's the first one to suspect. Although they work in concert, the PCM (aka ECU) is much more expensive and usually isn't the culprit.

Frankly, advising any further at this point would be wasting your time until you post further information.
