That'd be my guess, too. My 2000 LS did that during a road trip. At first, I thought a cousin had spilled his water on the floor ... until it started "multiplying" and sloshing around ... he he.
EDIT:
Well, that was my guess ... until I read Debbie's post about the moonroof leaking for an '87 MC LS. So, more likely that the heater core is out ... I've experienced that. Though, you generally get some "signs" that is coming ... like windows fogging up constantly, etc. If it isn't antifreeze on your floorboard, then perhaps your moonroof is causing the water on your floor?
*shrugs*
At least ... some ideas for you....

If it is clear water it isn't the heater core.My 2000 SS had the water leak on the passenger's side and it was the AC condenser drain hose. They are known for clogging shut. You can pull it off, clean it out and re-install it rather easily. It is on the firewallon the passenger's side, about a foot above the frame rail.It is a L shaped rubber hose, about 2 inches long, about the diameter of your finger. When I took mine off, about a quart of water ran out.

RE: Passenger floorboard leaks
Thanks guys for the info. I should have said it is an 87 monte. There is no smell with the floor board leak. The water is definately coming from the back of the floor board. (I put a plastic bucket under there.) I will check the suggestions out.
