PAC AOEM-GM1416 install w/o factory amp? (previously posted in wrong section)
Hey all im new to the forum, I have a question to ask.
Im in the process of upgrading the audio in my 07 SS. Ive installed infinity kappa components in the front(still dont know where to put the tweets) and kappas in the rear as well. I ordered an alpine pdx 4.150 to power them and the PAC adapter. how would i go about wiring this up since i do not have a stock amp in my MC? also would i have to put fresh wiring through the doors to the amp or is there access from the back of the HU?

yes, you'll have run from amp to door speakers. the rest will also be neccesary:
hookup pac adapter in back of hu.
run 2 sets of rca's (front + rear channel) and remote wire off of pac adaptor back to amp
run power wire from battery to amp
ground wire from amp to good location in trunk
run speaker wire from front channel on amp to door speakers
rear channel of amp to rear speakers.
