You really need to find a shop that knows what there doing. This is a case of hooking up a usefull scanner and watching everything while driving to see whats going on. If you lived in NY, I would have no problem helping you with this issue. Otherwise this is a guessing game. Like I said before you either have a sensor/wiring harness shorting or bad ecm.

Worst scenario your PCM is defective.

So I noticed there were a lot of places where the retainers for a lot of the wires in my engine bay were not clipped back where they belonged after my car went to have the engine rebuilt. I don't know if clipping them back into place or after a good tank of fuel injector cleaners which one did it, but she seems to be working normally again. I hope it continues to keep working. Previously, it would only drive for about 20 minutes every time. It's been running for a few hours today with no hiccups.

Halfway through December and still going strong. Biggest problem now is frequent flats due to crazy Louisiana temperature swings. I really need to have my tires filled with Nitorgren.

Haha, yeah... I was thinking December because I'm moving to Colorado Springs next month and posting after I got to work at 4AM. That time of day is always interesting for whatever comes out of my head. Before I get up there, it looks like I might also need to replace my oil pan. The road took out a large chunk close to the drain plug and as it has gotten colder, she suddenly seems to leak all over the ground when the temp drops.

It might be just your oil plug O rings they start to leak after a couple of oil changes.

2 years of no problems with this and it starts acting up again today after my girlfriend dropped me off at the airport. I'll be gone for two weeks, so nothing I can really do, but most notably it's done this when it was hot outside. At least I have a second car now. G8 ftw
