Default P0108 and P1106 codes - help!

I have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS with 268,000+ miles. The check engine light came on, and the codes that came up are P0108 and P1106. P0108 is for the Throttle position sensor and P1106 is for the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor circuit intermittent high voltage. Car is also cutting off when foot is taken off the gas pedal or stopped at a light. Any suggestions on how to remedy these codes? Hubby has ordered a new MAP sensor. Thanks so much!

New MAP sensor put on and running great again! I hope to make it to 300,000 miles before I start searching for a new Chevrolet.

Did you get the throttle position sensor issue taken care of as well?
