Hey yall i have an issue, i was backed into this morning and the damage isnt too bad the only thing im worried about is replacing the handle on the exterior of the drivers door. Has anyone ever done this or would i be better off just throwing a whole new door on there.

 

Replacing the handle isn't too difficult, and a lot easier and cheaper then replacing the whole door. After removing the door panel there's a couple of nuts to take off and a clip holding the linkage to the handle. Start to finish it's about a 20 minute job.

 

I agree with 03SSLE - I'd also advise getting a set of plastic tools that help you remove the door panels without breaking all the fasteners. I got mine through Crutchfields. Also, while the door panel is off you might want to wrap the linkage bars with some foam - it helps prevent those damn annoying rattles later on!
Sorry about the damage but guess it could have been worse!
