Hi there and welcome to the forum.
I do not know the answer to our question but I am hoping some of our 7th gen people will be able to answer your question.

There's a sensor in the oil pan, most likely just needs replacing if you are getting a low oil light.
If it's telling you to change your oil, do you reset the computer every time you change the oil?

What if I had a little leak on the oil pan the size of pin nail do u think that may have any thing to do with it cause I have digital dash and it keeps telling me to pull over and turn off the car but I keep checking my dip stick everytime I stop but wouldn't the light stay on if it was a problem it a jump on jump off or it a stay on for like ten mins then go off but its riding fine its not running hot or nothing

I may have missed something. Which oil indicator??
- Low Oil Level
- Low Oil Pressure
- Change Oil
If it's level and your dipstick shows you have the right amount of oil, like Chibi said, it could be bad sensor in the oil pan.
If it's low oil pressure, 99% of the time, the oil pressure sensor/switch has failed, time for a new one.
If it's the change oil, check how many miles it's been since it was changed (I've used the 3-5K miles between changes, never had any issues. When changing the oil, as Chibi mentioned, make sure to reset the oil life monitor.
Hope this gives some direction to your problem (or a solution to it).

As far as a oil light, the only light I have on my 06 is oil pressure. Those sensors do go bad. But usually when it does it stops all together. Might be a bad connection or its on its way out. First thing I'd do is check where it plugs in and if that's fine I'd replace the oil pressure sensor.
Yesterday I noticed the "check oil level, change oil" light come on. I bought my car from a dealer in which they changed the oil before I purchased it. I since then, put 2400 miles on it and it's running just fine. I checked the stick and the oil level looks good. I checked my oil percentage and read 62 so I knew something was wrong. So I reset my oil life back to 100 without changing the oil just to see if it would stop giving me that message. I turned the car on and message is still there...bad sensor? If so, how difficult/expensive is the fix? Thanks!
