Odometer and radio lights go out.

For me it was in the passenger side fuse box, fuse for the rear taillights. That one fuse caused my odometer to go dim, no rear defog, no taillights (the police notified me of that problem). The only difference is you said that you could adjust the brightness on your instrument panel. With that blown fuse, I had no lights at all in my panel, just a dim odometer.
